I don't know if it was the flyers, or if she was just hiding somewhere, or if it was a miracle, but I'm so so glad to have her back.

Now I feel bad posting all this happy news while PlumTuckered's hen is still missing. Here's hoping for another happy ending for her.

Lol, along with being so happy that she is back, I am all sorts of curious where she was. If life were more like the movies, she could have been across the world, unknowlingly having a pivotal hand in overthrowing an opressive leader or something.

Yup, I looked outside to check on the ducks, and there she was with the group! We're as curious as you are! My dad called to give me his two cents on the matter. He thinks it happened like that old short story "Ransom of Red Chief" when the outlaws kidnapped the kid for ransom, and he turned out to be such a pain that they wound up paying the parents to take him back!

My mother thinks she got spooked in the storm and hid out somewhere.

I think I like your idea best.
