Apparently I grabbed an NN egg by accident

Up to 7 now, still have 4 at least pipped. One is very slow though, not too sure if it will end up hatching

Might have found a home for my two extra male cochins, keeping my fingers crossed.

Starting to sell the chicks I'm not keeping as well while they're still cute.

Almost 80 in the chick shed between the lamps and the sun. Doors are wide open to keep anyone from cooking.

McMurray order has had some issues. Out of a 19 (17 ordered and 2 extras), I have lost 5 within a day. 1 was a doa, and the other 4 were all the same breed after being unpacked and checked on. Friend is a bit bummed as those were what she was really wanting.

I'm thinking it's likely just extra stress as the breed was one they culled and thus probably went through another round or sorting while they grabbed the ones they needed for their new flock before filling orders.

One of the 2 remaining is a little.... off. It's just not very smart compared to the rest of the chicks. I keep having to show it the water and food.

Going through bird inventory. We're possibly moving soon and it isnt an option to take everyone.
