Anybody know where people are staying? I would like to bring my family but don't know about the area.

I think there is one home town motel in versailles, but i cannot be sure. They have rough camping at the swap for 5 dollars a night.

you would have to drive from sedalia (45 minutes) or the lake (45 minutes to find a name brand motel/hotel.

I live 20 minutes north, so if I can help you out in any way, please let me know.

We will be showing up Tomorrow, Wednesday evening - the kids wanted an excuse to use the new tent and camping equipment we just got. Even though we live about 10 minutes away!

At least I can trade places with my hubby, who wants no part of the heat, and get a shower each day! I will be calling him at home to be relieved of duty.

Do people buy/sell/trade/give away dogs at this swap? I plan on attending and would like to obtain a LGD if at all possible and I have a female dog of my own to give away.

yes - there are many dogs as well - this is a huge swap with lots of stuff
