Oh no I’m so sorry. We had a similar thing happen with our bantam back in October. She was only 6 months old but she went broody, we let her keep 1 egg. She sat on it the whole time but I guess it got too cold during hatchI brought them in and candled them and there was no movement. :/
It looks like she started with 13 or 14 eggs. Ten she pushed out, and today we pulled two out of her nest today (one was grey, one is in the incubator) because they weren't warm, and one or two that my daughter couldn't reach. I think it's possible that just too cold outside for her to keep them warm in her spot under the stairs. But it's promising for Spring! My kids are prepared for the very real possibility that we might not get any more ducklings until Spring. We'll have to get her a proper nesting box, too.

Thank you! The bantam Cochin egg is following right behind!View attachment 2953415
We have some dominate copper marans, and they have mild feathered feet. So I can only assume that one of the fathers could be either Bootsie (Bantam Cochin x Buff Brahma) or our Red Bantam Cochin rooster. It Hatched!!!

Never seen rope in an incubator before?I put my eggs in lockdown day 17. Down to 7 with this batch. I had to pull one of the store eggs. I think I have 2 store ones left. 5 from my hen's eggs.
