Jan./Feb. 2014 hatch a long

I did some silkies this summer.  It was fun.  Got the prettiest buff, white, and blue out of them.  I have a recent photo of one..the buff...Hoping it's a girl.

This is only my second hatch. First for chickens/silkies. I'm so excited! Can I see pictures of your silkies?

ok ya'll.. having a hard time not stressing out! omg.
my eggs are going to be shipped from IL tomorrow, where they just got 10inches of snow!!

they will be to Missouri by tomorrow night, hopefully out of the storm.

At least the package is worth enough for usps insurance claim this time... unlike last time... lol...

...oh man oh man....

well it's official...the eggs that were in the incubator when it spiked 124 are dead....of course!!

I have been setting eggs from the bantams...I now have a total of 4 girls laying....2 are still a mystery?? I believe 1 must be one from the silkies, found it in the corner of the floor....the other option is phoenix bantams.

so exciting to lovingly hatch and raise these babies then start raising those babies babies!!
