My son and his wife gave us the news right before they left for the Thanksgiving holiday that they are expecting baby #3 They have two boys, ages 4 and 3....and yes, a girl would be nice

but I wont complain as long as baby and momma are ok

Holy Cow!!! I'm a newbie to this Grandparent thing compared to you

... I can sum up what being a GP is like by what my husband said when holding our first Grandson for the first time..
He told me that never did he ever believe he could love a child more than he did our own but that what he was feeling at that moment was so over whelming he couldn't describe it. Those little guys are the center of our life and it does my heart good everytime they walk thru our door. Being Poppy and Nanny is amazing!

yea people tells me that I say what I say till I get one. Lol I guess I just need a break from kids. I have a 20 year old that moved with my mom, a 11, and a 6 years old. I need a break with no kids before I start getting grandkids. Unless they like chickens,

Ok, I have got a chance at getitng a Blue Breda roo. I was going to order some eggs later this spring but to get one that is already 4 months old is a plus. Right now I only have some Olive Egger pullets to put him over. They are half French Maran so the chicks would be likely to come out feather footed. Two of my girls are blue and one is black copper. So what kind of appeal dose blue feather footed OE chicks strike you?
