Jan./Feb. 2014 hatch a long

Don't give up! ! Get them up to the right temp and let them rest for a while. Then maybe later on, candle them and look for movement. What day are you on?
I was on day 11 when disaster struck my day incubator. The table leg broke and the'bator fell, killing half of my eggs. I have 3 that are supposed to hatch today and in the next couple days. These were ones that were still alive after the bad fall they took. One even cracked and I am expecting it to hatch. :)
I haven't come all this way to give up!!! I'm on day 17!!!! Lockdown tomorrow!!!!

Ended up with 5 chickies on my first hatch of eight shipped Welsummer eggs! Very happy! 3 Hens and 2 Roos. One of the girls is still drying off. The mini Brinsea may be tiny, but I love it! Once a hatched chick dried off, I snatched it out real quick to make room for the others getting rolled around. Because of its small size the temps and humidity rebounded quickly. Setting some more eggs today ;)

Disaster struck over night.....the bulb on my incubator blew out. The temps went way down to 75 and humidity to 68. Darn, and I was so close to lockdown too.
You might be fine.........................don't freak............
