Jan./Feb. 2014 hatch a long

lol..I know how that goes once day 20 gets here. You just wait, for that first pip even. Congrats on your first baby. I love the favorelles. Even the bantam ones. They are sweethearts. This is my bantam favorelle Sweetpea that a friend now has. She is a great broody..not sure if the Large Fowl go broody as well??
She's a beautiful lookin momma!

the babies tell their mom she is pretty.

aww, that's a cute thought, I never looked at that photo like that. I could so have so much fun making a little comments here and there with the chicks talking..I love Pzap for dressing up a photo, or making comments on them.

Hey all! My australorp hatched out a mystery chick a little over a week ago and I have a silkie on day 5 now. This is super exciting for me. The australorp was my first hatch ever. I was disappointed with the single chick out of 7, but it was insane cold and Abby Gale's personality makes it all worth it. Still, I'm hoping for better this time around.

This is my broodysilkie hen she is around 8-9 months old and she is already broody. Wow that didnt take long :)

what kind of eggs did you get?
I highly recommend the 2 links in my signature, particularly the Dry method

Thanks!! I have Polish, White Rock, NHR, and BA from my own flock, and Araucana or Americana (not sure if pure or EE as lots of people I have learned call them all Americana even when meaning EE) , BR, and I forget what they said the others were. My girls eggs will all be mixed as my Roo is not the same breed as any of them but doesn't matter to me really.
I also put some of my BSL's eggs in there although I know they will not be the same as her but like I said mine are all mixed anyway lol

I will definitely check out your links! Thanks again!!
