Day 20! I've read lately that the EE's are strong little ones when it comes to hatching...I guess I never really took notice but I guess they are early to hatch. Of course, they aren't all hatched yet. Maybe a couple will take until tomorrow. I know one more will make it tonight.

Well, I only had 2 hatch of the 5 eggs that made it to lockdown. At least it was one from each of the hens who's eggs I put in! 2 pipped but did not hatch. 1 never pipped.

Here is the EE/ BO chick that hatched. It looks like it might have momma's puffy cheeks.

I have 5 babies today..and I am done. Little EE chipmunks. Already thinking I only have one girl! Of course.
Now, my others are due to hatch on Mon.

9 out of 13 hatched from my mixed eggs. Of the 4 remaining 2 died prior to pip and the jury is still out on two.
One chick has a slipped tendon in a leg. We are keeping an eye on her.
This was my 1st hatch and I had no idea how emotional this is.

Aww, I love that blue one..looks like it could turn out to be a splash! I want a splash! Congratulations on such a great hatch!

The one above is my favorite. Didn't get a very good close up, she started to blink with her first eye lid.
