Janoel 12 incubator

I just hatched 7/8 duck eggs (probably 8/8, but I'm not home right now) with my Janoel. I'm really impressed, since this is my first time incubating. I got a humidity monitor and religiously turned the eggs about 5 times a day for the first week or two (although it does have an egg turner), plus I weighed the eggs weekly to see if the humidity needed adjusting. I'm pretty sure I had 100% success! Oddly enough, the one egg that was losing the most weight (much less than the suggested 13%) is the one that hatched first, and that chick is bursting with energy!

I have this incubator and had a great hatch from it. 6/7. But I have a probed thermometer in there, and the temps in the center read lower by 2 degrees than the temps on the outside edge. I will rotate egg placement, but it's hard to know what location the temp is accurate. Any one else have this issue?

I've run 5 batches out of my janoel 12, and it seemed to work great the first few batches, but now my temperature is varying wildly, and this morning even with a blanket wrapped around it, and under it I can't get the temperature to hold anything higher than 93.1 F. I have the top set at 40.0 C (as high as it will go). Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this?
