I have a Janoel 48 Incubator and am looking to incubate quail in it.

I noticed with other incubators that the quail turners that you can add-on have a much larger capacity for eggs, since the quail eggs are smaller.

Unfortunately, the only Janoel 48 quail rail that I kind find fits only 48 quail eggs, same as chicken.

Does anyone have any experience with a Janoel 48 incubator and compatible quail turner trays from other brands?

G'day
I just bought a jn8-48 and it came with multifit egg tray takes from quail to duck. It can fit 48 chicken eggs and 152 quail eggs these trays can be bought from ebay or direct from China.

Hello.so does it matter if the quail eggs are upright and facing pointy end down.cos that's what I thought.cos I've got one of those yellow trays that came with my janoel 48 incubator.its the only tray that came with it. And I've hatched chook eggs in it. Made all eggs stand up right in it.but I've just got some quail eggs and I've put some card board in the rails so the eggs can fit and stand upright. My question is what's the best position to have them siting in my 48 egg incubator. I've got a 12 egg janoel incubator and I know the only position for eggs in that is lying down.
