Recently I purchased a Janoel incubator. Was working great but not a single egg has yet hatched. I suspected the turning mechanism was not working so I marked the eggs and sure enough the eggs are still the same place. I checked to see if it worked they day I bought it home which it was working great. It's not warranted. Anyone know what I can do. I tried to restart it. No help. I dont know anyone who could fix it or look at it in my country.

I had a Chinese knockoff Janoel 48.
Is your motor working at all, or is it just turning incorrectly?

The little arm that fits into the turner on mine would get out of whack sometimes and the motion would end up in the same place it started. I had to wait for it to turn, and when it got high on one side, I would unplug the power, then restart, and that would reset the positioning.
Replacement motors are also available online (try incubatorwarehouse.com) just be sure to get the right voltage, amps etc, and it should be an easy swap.

Or just turn the eggs manually. :)

One more thing, some of those are designed to automatically stop turning on he final 3 days. Maybe that’s the case?

I've made sure the arm in the slot. The incubator is not a knockoff I'm sure. I'll have a look into the incubator warehouse absolutely.

Could very well be the case where its stopped because the eggs should have hatched by now. I have no faith they are still alive.

I wasn’t implying yours was a knockoff, just mine was. :D

What day are you on? You should have removed the turner 3 days before they were due to hatch. If they are overdue, I’d candle them and check for life. :fl
All good. Thank you so much for you help. They are two days overdue. If they don't hatch after another couple of days, I'm going to throw them out. Yeah I candled them and both were alive a week ago. I had no idea the machine stops turning as they are due to hatch. Perhaps I've killed them.

I thought the brand 'Janoel' was already some sort of Chinese brand knockoff? Anyway, aren't there many Janoel incubators out there? Which one is yours?

Remove the auto turner and replace it with an egg tray. Turn eggs 3 times a day. Or if quail eggs just roll them around that many times. You will get a better hatch than if the auto turner was working.
