Janoel12 incubator and humidity

I know some people do dry runs until lockdown because they generally have higher humidity in their areas... well it is pretty dry here in California... but man! Even dryer inside my incubator... so air levels in the house are about 46%... however... I have to add like two medicine dropper full of water (helps me measure) each day to keep it around 45-50% humidity.... if not.. I am constantly at 27%... is this a huge issue prior to lockdown?

the main reason for adding water is to regulate air cell growth, as long as that is monitored and stays on track it should be ok.

So is it okay that I still have to add each day and is 45-50% okay for prior to lockdown phase??

If you need it more humid, try putting a small chunk of clean sponge in there and wet that instead of pouring water straight into the tray.

I will totally do that once I head into lock down.. thank you!! I think that will really help stabilize
