If they hatch.

Good, that will give us time to get our Jumbo Quail up in weight to match those Dinosaurs. If we pile them all together by the sound of it.

SO it takes 5 Coturnix quail eggs to equal a chicken egg.
How many .....Coturnix eggs to equal 1 Emu egg?
For that matter: How many Jumbo C. quail does it take to equal an Emu? Lets find out.
When are they due to hatch?
How much time do we have to get our New Years babies growing good before they hatch?

OH, don't forget the Buttons raise em up fast and we'll see how many Buttons equal an Emu newly hatched chick. What about 4-6 times more than Jumbos? Buttons are kind of long in the body I noticed, put some long legs and a fake long neck on em and we can call them miniature Emu's, just for this.

The other quail are out of season.
JJMR you have pheasant. Are you hatching pheasant eggs still?
Wanta see how many Pheasant babies(I don't know what they are called), it takes to equal a Dinosaur Emu?

I hope they hatch, a couple, meaning 2, right? What are the odds of them both hatching?
That big what kind of bator are you using?

AND what are you going to do with them? Hope for a M/F and sell eggs. OK, I get it. You could make some real pretty crafts from those it sounds like. I would know better if you'd show us what they look like.

Well, I am a slow typist. Thats about 6 weeks. Good to go.

I looked Emu up and the Buttons do have that long body in miniature, put some legs and a long neck on the right colored ones and you can pass them off as miniatures. Maybe that's why I'm fascinated with the Buttons, I like Ostriches.

Alas, but I am living vicariously through all of you with this round of hatching. I must wait as my bird capacity is about reached. I want to wait and see how many hens I had, anyway, from last round!

YA, I have to agree this time of year. She's going to be hatching in the Spring for sure.

Maybe you can mail your excess males to someone that needs male breeders and try again later. Grow them big so someone just has to have those big boys.

Hey, the big boys are hard to find.
