I'm setting a batch in tomorrow.

So, been busy with Xmas preps and still not done, xmas is the 18th around here, this year.

DH is loosing it. Wants to make an expansion bridge for the quail babies. Put a cage tunnel from the Brooder box to the Growout pen (will cross my walkway).
So do you think they would actually use it? Walk the walk across the bridge? His enthusiasam is hard to contain, sometimes.

I just want a screened porch for them off the Brooder box, and he comes up with this grand scheme. By the way that box is way to small for 60 Jumbo 4 week old qualies.

I set way too many eggs

I have a batch coming off on Dec 19th but I'm sure I'll set more eggs on the 16th when I move the eggs to the hatcher.

So tonight I start saving my F1 Jumbo Brown eggs for this hatch. Actually 2 days ago, I'll put a few extra in just in case.

12-7 = 5 Available. Cut off is Dec 31, 2010.

YAY!! I get to join! I just set 82 Tuxedo Coutournix from Ebay and our 7 first eggs from our quail so 89 all together. Our hatches have been going right at 18 days so I should be hatching Dec 31st through the 1st.

Jenlyn watch out with ebay...I purchased some tuxedo eggs and they exploded in the bator...the seller starts with R and middle Z and second D.....It was aweful!
