JANUARY 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Well.... I hope hatching is an inexact science. I went into lockdown yesterday, but had to make adjustments today as I filled the wrong channels in my hatchubator and was sort of poaching the eggs (too high humidity). Hatch date is Sunday, so hopefully no harm, no foul. (Not "no harm, no fowl"

) We'll see. We're now down to 29 as an egg quit right sometime in the morning of lockdown. Did an eggtopsy on it...hadn't started absorbing the yolk yet, but had feathers.

@bamadude

@Renee572

My condolences on your grandma. I'm sure she lived a full life to be smiled about.
Also, hope your stent behaves! Sounds like you have a lot on your plate.

The hatcher is the Hova-Bator 1588, yeah, full of $2.99/doz Trader Joe's eggs....where they've been riding it out all along because they wouldn't all fit in the Brinsea. (Honestly, I thought only half a dozen would be viable, not 32)

The Brinsea has the replacement BLRW eggs now which the seller graciously sent to apologize for the feather-footed Oops.

It was only a couple of hours on the high humidity, but still...... Sigh.....
