Hoping to get some pictures posted after dinner. So far we have 7 successful hatchers, 2 died after pipping, and a few more are pipped and resting.
Congrats! Can't wait to see pics

Do they sell just chicks? I just sold 5 laying hens for $200, making a killing if only hens would come out of the bator.
Wow! What breed if hens did you get $40.00 each for?
Yes, they have POL pullets 18-22 weeks old or they also have juveniles 4 weeks old. Hatching eggs also. An abundance of other stuff also.

My eggs are wiggling!!! I am having last minute lockdown panic. The air cells look great in some of the eggs but not all of them. The rest is so dark I can't see anything. It's definitely time soon, those eggs are full. So I'm leary of upping the humidity too soon for the ones whose air cells don't look so good but on the other hand there's wiggling, stuff is going to happen soon or am I just jumping the gun. Add water am of day 18 as planned? Late day 18? Day 19? What about rolling (manually), stop now like skip tonight? Or again tonight, tmrw, noon then done? Overthinking??? Here's the good cells. The small look like no change from day 14 to 17. The lines are day 7,14 and 17 (pm)![]()
They were Buff Orphington and Rhode Island Red. People are crazy here about already laying or not. I should keep a continuous flow of layers. And I meant to sell 3 or 4 and they got me for 5, one wasn't for sale. I'll have to check out those catalogues because online isn't showing much. Thanks
