January 22 hatch along

We are putting around 24 Orpington eggs in the incubator on the 22nd of January. Anyone want to join in? Kevin

I'll only set around 8 though...since im setting 24 a bit later and theres another 8 under the broody turkey..

I'm putting 12 shipped lavender's in a new bator momentarily.. These are shipped but my postman was very careful, well packed , optimistic.. good luck with yours--
prior shipped eggs got only a 50% hatch..

We ended up putting 27 of our own Orpington eggs in about 3:30 today. Hoping for some blue chicks. We have a splash rooster and splash and black hens/pullets. Our black pullets just started laying about a month ago. We will see how hatching pullet eggs turns out. Good luck to all.

That must be where one of my Easter Eggers and other splash hen came from with the eggs you gave me last spring. Gray with some dark random feathers mixed in, right???

We candled at 10 days today. Got rid of 7 clear eggs. Have 20 left in incubator. Most are pullet eggs.
