January Hatch-a-long 2018

Pics
Day 17! Not sure if these will be on time or not based on their size. All 22 eggs still doing well. Saw almost all of them moving when I candled! My last hatch in August (my first hatch) was about 3 days early due to higher temps. This time I've been really trying to make sure they aren't too hot. Does this look normal for day 17?

Also, some of my other eggs seem to be more "filled in" than this one. But this egg is large and the other eggs I'm thinking of are more medium. Maybe that's just the natural variation in eggs?

That looks great to me. Well done.

Shoot, those don't look too promising to me. Especially the second one down. Are the pictures different eggs or same egg from difficult angle? The lower egg look more porous so I'm thinking different.

Air cells look ok to me. Maybe a tad large but hard to judge from that angle. Hopefully more experienced hatchers pipe up too.
they are not the same egg some of them are brown eggs i was wworried about the air cells i had the humidity to high this whole time and i cant get it downi guess i just have to wait tell the water runs out :barnie:p

i sent that lady a email and she said that she has some silkies i asked what color and im waiting for her to get back to me she has good prices thanks so much for giving me her email

Well I know it’s a little early and a lot can happen but all of my silkie eggs are growing it seems like all of the marans are growing all of my Wyandottes are growing and only 1 olive egger is growing. So that means only two out of my 22 arent growing and it’s still early they may be and I can’t see it. I am so surprised cause I’ve seen where people are getting eggs that won’t grow and aren’t fertile. I must have good karma or something.
