Omg that’s great! I can’t imagine how I’m gonna feel when I see my first egg ever pip. I bet it’s gonna be a silkie! They are always going crazy when I candle so they are very lively.

My silkies always hatch early when I have some in the batch! I have some that are due at the end of the month in another incubator.

Thinking of getting another incubator and I saw this one on amazon and thought hmm.. possibly? Anyone have it here? Have successes it with it?

What do you guys think of: Farm Innovators 2450 Digital Circulated Air Incubator with Automatic Egg Turner

Thinking of getting another incubator and I saw this one on amazon and thought hmm.. possibly? Anyone have it here? Have successes it with it?

I'm using it right now, and a cheap eBay model for a hatcher. It's my first time using this incubator and I like it. My thermometer was spot on but the hydrometer reading is about 8% off. It holds heat and humidity well. The motor on the autoturner gets very hot. I'm concerned with how much this will affect it long term.

Ooo, is that a blue? I usually hatch silkies in the spring. Love the little stinks. They are So adorable. Another blast from the past. Will post a photo of one of my favorite silkies. I have a lot of photos. Everyone, that wants to that is, while we are waiting for babies to hatch... how about sharing a favorite photo. Share a few! I take so many pictures of my girls, it's border line silly.... ok, so it's past border line silly. lol.. Here is a black silkie I hatched from a gal here on BYC. She ships. Maybe you've heard of Raven... I am one that loves the

bearded/muffed.

They have the cutest little sound.
