This chick just got out of the egg and there is still yolk in the egg what does this mean and pippa is walking all over the new chickie should I take pippa out

Everything looks perfect. And, I always take my chicks out when they hatch. Just do it quickly.

Can you tell if your baby is feather footed?

i do they are both feathered footed

there is some kind of vein stuck to the new hatched egg it will not come off of her but lol but im so happy to have both hatch im going in to another lock down the 22 for three more eggs yay

Its just a piece of leftover, don't pull it off..it will fall off on it's own. No biggy, unless you pull it..could cause bleeding. You are getting babies!

They're Marans. They came from a mixed pen of blue birds. Birchens and Copper.
