would it be the beak it was moving back and firthA shadow in the air cell...exciting!
thanks there were two that had the beak in the air sell and was moving it but one just had its beak sitting in the air cellCould be, if it's turned by now, that would be an early hatch. Probably more likely it is starting to wriggle around into position for hatch.
good luck with your hen hatch and the eggs that you getI’m thinking of getting some eggs to set soon. While the broody tries hatching her eggs. Hopefully all goes well

I think I’m having some firtility issues
Before setting the eggs, almost every egg was firtile that I used for cooking. In the eggs in the incubator ended up being 5/14 firtility.... not good. And also, now all the eggs I crack open for cooking are unfirtile. I wonder what is going on!?
This is my first ever hatch and I was hoping for good hatch rates! My roo is young, not quite a year, and he is as healthy as a horse. I have witnessed him “doing the do” many times recently, so they should be firtile. Ugh.![]()
So frustrating! I am planning on selling the chicks, but it might be harder if I only have a couple of chicks.I have had this happen to me before. I was having so many fertile eggs while cooking I decided to try and hatch and only 2/13 were fertile. I then waited a little and got a much better hatch rate 9/12
