Thank you! That is a great resource. It looks like it could be a couple of things that went wrong. I kept a log of temp and humidity throughout my incubation so I am going to go through all of that and double check my humidity and temp.

I have four hatched, 3 BLRW's and 1 CM. I have one more BLRW that is starting to pip.

Chick update I have 4 BLRW out 2 zipping so far none of my 4 remaining BC Marans are doing anything 2 of the BLRW are a golden orange color 2 are dark brown with golden highlights is the any way to know from the color what they will be?

Day 19

Moved 6 light Brahma/Barred Rocks & 2 Pure Light Brahma to the hatcher this morning. Hatch date Feb 3rd. Due to the last hatch Failing badly, upped Humidity to 70-74% Temp 101. Hatcher is still air (may have to get a fan for it).

still have 7 mystery eggs in the incubator (hatch Date Feb 16th). Humidity increased to 45-55% and Temp to steady 99-100F.

If this doesnt work I have no clue what to try next.

I need to build a candler (out of 2 projectors as I can't see movement in my dark eggs. but they look full)
& Incubator out of the parts from all these (2 Lg & 2 Galvanized Browers) incubators that aren't doing the job right!

Well, I am out of this hatch now. I just had a feeling that something was wrong being this late and nothing pipping, so I grabbed one of the silkie eggs and saw no movement. I pipped it and it was dead. All of the chicks had fully formed and died some today, some yesterday. None of them had even pipped into the aircell. I don't get it. I did not do a dry hatch, but temps and humidity were pretty steady the whole period at recommeded levels.
It gets better. Feeling frustrated, I decide to look at my eggs that are due tommorow and all were dead also except two. Same as the others. The two that were still alive, I made the decision to try to help them. So I opened the aircell and cleared thier little heads and put them back in the bator.

Well I'm done. The one I piped didn't make it, I really didn't expect it to. So I have 17 beautiful chicks (13 wheaten/blue wheaten ameraucanas + 4 projects). I have 2 project eggs left in the bator as an experiment on staggered hatching and they are due next Sunday. They got pushed around a lot during the big hatch but maybe they'll hatch. Then it will be time to clean the bator and put in whites ameraucanas and marans

It's January 31st with only a few hours left in the month. I've enjoyed the posts here, learned some things & shared in the joys & sorrows. With incubation there are always things to rejoice in , learn from & look forward to for the next hatch. Chickens are just wonderful animals; we are the lucky ones to have discovered that.

Congratulations to all of the chickies that hatched & their proud owners in January 2010!

Best wishes to all, see you on the 'FEBRUARY HATCH-A-LONG come join in', lots of new people there & those we saw here. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=3548324#p3548324

I guess I am going to have atleast one hatch before the end of January. It pipped this morning but hasn't done anything all day. I kept checking on it to make sure it was ok but it finally started zipping about 15 minutes ago. It is a frizzlexsilkie. I guess I will name it January.
Congrats on all the new January chickies.
Hopefully I will have some to start February with. There are 2 BO, 1 silkie and one BrahmaxGLW due tomorrow.
