The Post Man just brought my eggs AND my 2009 MMH catalog, what a combo. The eggs came from, looks like Riverside VT or UT. I would LOVE to know what these gorgeouse dark brown eggs are. There was no note inside. PS Thankfully they sent 7 eggs because the one on top didnt make it.

Man! I wish i knew what my eggs were, Im dying of suspense here! This is worse than trying to figure out what the free exotic chick that MMH sends with a box of baby chicks!

Mine should ship Tuesday but I'll post for sure. Absolutly to cold here- eggs so cold yesterday they didn't crack open but after being in the warm for a few hours had hair lines running all over.

It was 10 deg. here yeaterday only 26 so far today. I know there's places colder but I'm cold enough thank you!!

Yesterday I had one of my silkies lay her first egg. It was evidently early in the morning, by the time I went out to let them out and feed everyone, it had frozen and cracked all down the side of the egg. Found another egg like that this morning from one of the other hens. I didn't see either egg the night before, so either they had layed them really late or really early, but either way they were both cracked from freezing.
