Dumped the contents of one trap into a bucket, blasted them with cold water and dumped on the ground for the girls...
    WOOHOOO they went nutz.
The barred rocks barely came up for air, and once the golden commets discovered how they tasted - they were gone, gone, gone.
I love sitting when i give them treats to listen to their cooing, chitter-chatter, and sighs of delight. Even when they turn the stink eye on me when they are all gone - i can't help but laugh.

So there is a good use for Japanese Bettles!

My Mum in Tennessee has been over run with these darn thing. They ate every piece of vegitation in her yard that she worked all Winter saving and bringing back in the Spring for a beautiful Summer lawn to be eaten up in one afternoon.

She purchased the Bettle bags and within 3 hours filled three of them.

My husband and I were completely amazed at the sight!

I'll have to tell her to get some chickens to feed them too.

    Cool story!
