Japanese Bantam Thread!

Congratulations. Paul Kroll has some really nice birds. I won best of breed at Shawnee (Jap national last year)out of 200 Japanese bantams with a mottled hen I bought from Paul when she was a 2 year old. Can't go wrong there.

I have some wheaton japs. they are from show quality stock. I got them from Sammy Collins of NC and Ken Byess of GA.I looked in the JBBA breeders guide and the closest person that has wheaton listed is in MO. Robert and Kathleen Kahler. I'll pm you the info.

Just an off handed question. Was at the Ohio nationals over the weekend - and was seeing the Bearded Whites. Just curious what - if anyone knows - was used to bring the bearded factor in? D'anvers or sometihng ?

I'm not sure, but they make an interesting looking bird. I haven't decided yet whether or not I like them. Maybe I can find out.
