Java Green Peafowl Call [any of you got samples ?]

They do make different sounds then the IB. Sounds that will put a smile on your face. I love listening to my mature male.

Is there a way you could film or record him when he calls ? That would be awesome !

it could be flying up to signal his territory, or maybe just to say "I'm here"

Like how Saddlebacks recognize their neighbours and keep distance, but freak out when they hear a stranger's song.

I'm wondering that which species is the 2nd loudest after Imperator? Is Javanensis loud because especially Baluran looks a lot like Imperator Siamensis...

@ Dany12 - Even if those are IBs, that vid was a lot of fun and entertainment to watch xD
Especially the guy at the end. At first I thought you were going to show a video of Green Peafowls calling, but nonetheless, it's not like I mind. Thanks for sharing ! ~

@ FrankYLegend - Oh yes, though I had never heard that kind of call before, not even from an IB. Especially with the repeated short sounds he made, I find it rather impressive how much "vocabulary" those birds have. ~
