Jeez, I can't get this roll of wire flat!! Any suggestions??

We use a piece of 2x4 with hooks screwed into one edge, every foot or so. This will not cure the fencing from wanting to curl but it helps to get an even tension as it is pulled across the post.

I walked all over mine, first, with it rolled out "against" the natural curl. I also learned to wear gloves when working with it!

Reading your post about frustration reminded me so much of the day I fought the garden hose and lost. I was SO ticked off and sweaty and muddy and I just wanted to roll it up neatly after it had been draped out all over the yard forever.

That was a two wine glass evening. And I live alone.

For a night before you attach it, roll it out in the driveway or yard and weigh it down flat. Then, attach one end/side, and have someone else pull on it like the tarnation while you staple along as fast as you can. It'll look better than you think it will. I have to say, however, that it is NOT a one-person job. Maybe you could get your friend/neighbor/relative to drop by and help.

Good luck!!
