Jellied yolk?!

Someone we give eggs to just sent me this picture of a very strange yolk. Any ideas??

I don’t see much of any egg white. Looks like it may have cracked at some point and it leaked out letting it dry out on the inside.

maybe but we package them and make sure they’re intact first. If it had leaked afterward I would have thought she’d notice since they were in a carton and there would have been a mess. Very bizarre.
