Also if you go to one of these breeders they will charge ATLEAST this amount for one bird this age.

you should really put some pic up give the buyers a chance to see for them selfs the chicks,if we think they are hens and buy them it's our bad,but just taking ur word for it,i don't know,u can,t even tell if those 3 are blues or splash,and now you think they look like hens.(scratching head)

He never said he knew for sure they are hens. He said he didn't know, but based on size, likely to be hens. He also said his camera is broken. That's why there are no pics.

Shipping birds at all, except day old chicks, is very expensive, so mostly people who are local would be the ones responding. If you go to look at somebody's chickens, if they aren't what you want, then just don't buy them.

Young poultry's colors often go through some changes before the final adult plumage grows in. Just about anybody with blues and splashes knows that you can't always tell for sure what the end result will be. If you have a crystal ball you can consult to accurately predict the adult colors in birds like this, please tell the rest of us where you got it. I'd like one myself.

I've seen plenty of folks, with pics posted, trying to determine the gender of immature birds. And people with experience, looking at the pics, some saying male, some saying female. It's not always easy to tell, and even with pics, people often can't tell.

Parkboy, would you clarify the price? Is that $50 each or for the whole bunch? I see they come from some very nice looking parent birds.

Sounds perfect since Im there alot Myself. I have to talk to hubby and hurry up and finish a pen for them. Am in the middle of building new pens. I would keep them in there for about a week or so and also I would like this snow storm to pass first since Ill be snowed in anyways cause Im in bfe ^^ I would like to see them but I know that is not possible for you. Ill talk to him tomorrow and let you know.
