We have a Jersey Giant hen who, after weeks of 'practicing', finally laid her first egg approx 2 weeks ago and we were all thrilled..! However she has not laid another egg since. I know that with this breed things take longer to happen/establish however I was wondering whether a delay after laying the first egg was common, whether I should be worried and when I can expect her to start laying more frequently?
