Jersey Giant hen or roo?

Odd,mine are 4 weeks and almost fully feathered and huge.
Mine have feathers, but aren't fully feathered, I've read they grow slower. They eat like pigs and are on Flock Raiser plus they free range with my hens. The deleware in the pic with it is 5 weeks and pretty much the boss already. I've had chicks that grow slow, but become the biggest birds in the flock. I looked at pics of 4 week old JG pullets and mine look identical, the cockerels seem to feather faster and grow faster. Who knows  I have read a lot of people stating their JG's seem stunted then they grow over night.

This is one I found with a quick search to show my family what we bought... Everyone thinks I'm lying because I got chicks :gig

No,well he didn’t really clarify,we went to a hatchery and I think he had pullets/and cockerels separate, and was picking pullets out but I’m pretty for sure one of the jerseys is a male and pretty for sure one is a pullet.

With JG it all depends on where you got them. I also have a BJG, but I got her from a feed store, which means she's a hatchery quality Giant. This means that she's no where as large as a heritage Giant. My BJG is just a hair larger than some of my other chickens. Even my brahmas aren't as big as they would be if they were heritage. Here's my flock... The only all black one in the 1st pic is my BJG. In the second I have two all black chickens, the one in the foreground is a black ee. The one left of center, facing the camera is my BJG.

I'm actually going to pick up Cochins and a Brahma today... I was supposed to get Indian runner ducklings, but the farm called saying that the egg incubation went bad and they don't plan on doing more until next year. They have tons of chicks they hatched out for people that never got picked up so I'll bring 3 home since we have more room that we planned due to no ducklings. Those Cochins and Brahma have been sitting there for 6 weeks waiting for someone to buy them since the original owner passed on them! I can't wait to see them! I have never seen one full grown in person, just in pics so it'll be nice to add them to my flock. We are building our coop next weekend with modifications for the BJG's so we will keep in mind the Cochins and Brahma size when they're full grown... Bigger roosts, nesting boxes, and bigger door
