Actually, it was our first batch of chicks (6 breeds). The BJG were noticeably different from each other from very early on, and development was different in several ways. So, we knew early on that it was very likely we had 1 male, 1 female...but had NO clue which was which till they started to diverge in comb/ wattle development. The female is very docile...huge, but docile. Still, she is small compared to the male - it is apparent even in the picture I posted above. So far, only one has laid any eggs
