Jersey Giant male or female?

I don't. One, she stopped laying for winter... Two, the only rooster I have is an araucana, so any fertilized eggs from her would be half araucana.

No problem figured I'd ask.

So the wait is over, it's a cockerel He's been showing more male characteristics, doing a lil dance around one of the hens, and today I saw him crowing

For sure, well chuffed I said as I only got one chick from 6 eggs that I hoped it would be a cockerel Named him Jerry (Jerry Jurassic, as my husband says he's like a dinosaur chicken, with the size of him compared to the warrens lol)

Thankyou! I know I'm bias lol but he is handsome You can see the sheen on his feathers in photos now Sadly lost all but one hen to foxin moxin one night when we were out later than usual (the one in the pic survived and Jerry obvs) he now has another 6 girls (7 inc the original hen) i re-homed from Fresh Start for Hens a few weeks ago And hubby made an automatic door for my hen house, which gives me some peace of mind it won't happen again and saved me a fortune!
