Jersey Giants & Lavender Orpingtons

We have a small farm in Boring, Oregon. We have a mixed flock. Mostly Jersey Giants and a few Lavender Orpingtons. Has anyone ever tried to mix the 2 breeds? We are gonna try next spring.

Has anyone had any luck?

I have not mixed those two breeds but I have mixed lots of others...

You can definitely mix the breeds together in living space, the actual breeding of Jersey Giants and Orpingtons I have never done. Lavender Orps sure are pretty though!

I don't know if you are aware but all the chickens from this mix will be black the first generation.
