You can fullfill some of these needs with free ranging and with fodder too. I let my girls out whenever the weather is nice for about an hour at a time. The grass right now is mostly dead, but they're still out pecking around in the dirt. I also pitch them some veggie table scraps here and there and buy either chick sticks or flock blocks, they seem to like the sticks best. Although none of this is substitute for earlier advice.
