CarolynF - you say the bottoms of her feet are yellow?
To me, if she's a Jersey Giant, again, this is not a good example. They should have very long and flat backs - also, it's hard to tell, but it appears the angle of her back is not correct, either.
Again, it very well could be that she's purebred, but maybe hatchery stock (i.e., someone got her from a hatchery and bred what they got...so, I guess you could say they are from "a breeder," but they may simply be not the best conformation).
Remember to always ask lots of questions when buying purebred stock - ask where they got their starts, how long they have been in that breed, what they are working on in their flocks, etc. There's absolutley nothing wrong with buying someone's culls if that's what this bird is - absolutley nothing! But, I really woudl hope that breeders tell the buyers why they are selling...JMO.
