Ok, now I know what the splashes look like. It's the light silver/white one we weren't really able to find any pics for comparison. She's huge like the black one we call Baby. She's fine in all other respects. She likes to hang out with the silkies, and the silkies use her, and Baby ( the black one my daughter named) as pillows.
Two silkies in particular like her. They are a little trio. They are all doing fine, and as a whole, just a laid back bunch. Which to me is a good sign. They all seem happy and healthy, and we see a pattern of playtime/sleep time already.
One of the yellow chicks is from Lily. That's the hen I told you about that has the blue legs, and lays the very dark green eggs I showed you. I wasn't sure if any of her eggs were fertile, but apparently one was. The other green egg which was yours didn't hatch or pip. We couldn't really see anything when we candled those.
The other yellow chick is from Roxi the BCM we got from you last August. Houdini is definitly the father. One has a pea comb, so Im fairly certain it's him again. He and Roxi are throwing yellow chicks. That's almost what Lily looked like when she hatched. The other yellow chick has a normal comb and slightly feathered, and a different shade of yellow. That one may be fathered from Stevie, but I'll know for sure once that one feathers out. Stevie has thrown a yellow chick when crossed with one of our EE's, but they were males from that hatch. They feathered out nicely, and turned out to be beautiful males.
So basically, It's Houdini and Roxi. Lily and Stevie for those two yellow ones.
Cass said she had her camera set for different picture lighting, and will show me this morning where the settings is. It's a new camera, and the menu is LARGE, we couldn't find the setting last night. LOL
