hi i just hatched out my first jersey giant yesterday and was wondering if any of you might know if this is a blue or black? i think it a black the eggs were suppose to be blue black splash combo. thanks

Silkies are evil. If you look one in the eye, you will be hooked. I swear they are dumber than dustmops, if you move their food bowl 2 feet, they take all day to find it. But they are so sweet to hug and kiss and carry around. They make the cutest little noises. And I absolutely love the roos. I let my silkies out with the big flock a few weeks ago. My sweet silkie roo now chases my big black Jersey Giant. It's a perfect balance, little bossy silkie roo, and fast running Jersey Giant roo. Can't get any better!
