Im NOT one of the eggspurts or anyone to be judging but THAT sure is impressive in my humble opinion. WOW, how old is he?? Great shot catching those red comb points against green background, really makes them stand out. Looks alot thicker and fuller in the chest to me than the top one in post 3034

He has 13 months. A look at his back. At the other picture you see he has nearly 70cm= 28 inch(Each rectangle of the fence is 10 cm)

Those are the Standard Jersey Giants, we're trying to determine the tail angle, females are 40* degree angle, (because I only show a female) a APA judge told me..
The standard description us what you go by, not the illustration. You're judge was incorrect. The standard description says females tail's are 30 degrees, not 40.Was he looking at a Standard when he/she told you this? You should always double check/go with what is in the SOP. That is what the judge is exposed to be judging by (unless it was a fair or something).

Hey everyone.. I have some JG babies that are 2 weeks old. I am selling some today and want to keep two pullets only. What are the FIRST signs of boy/girl? Does anyone have pictures to show me? I have some that feathered in a little faster. All are showing some comb development. I checked eye color and didn't notice a difference so .. help please? What can I do about sexing as best I can at 2 weeks?
