Are you guys kidding...there is only EVER one first day...I have hundreds and hundreds of photos to go thru...what a day indeed, once in a lifetime...first full day!

But I guess I was waiting on Teila to show up...heh heh heh...her country of origin, eh!

It is 15:21 in Sydney and Lacy doesn't figure it is night time...ha ha ha!

I am utterly exhausted and beaming happy...this is what I want to run after for the next, oh at least 15 years...there they go..............

OMG! OMG! OMG! They are so super adorable and I love the flags!

Tara, your puppies came from Aus, my hubby came from Canada .. I am prepared to swap back! lol

Once again, doing my Cheshire Cat impersonations .. loving your excitement, loving them and so happy for everyone ... they sure do look like they are having a wonderful time!

I have probably told this story before; I lost Charlie-Bear Christmas Day 2010 after 13 years, which surprised everyone, including numerous Vets, due to a fractured skull at 6 weeks of age and a lifetime of dealing with epilepsy.

Charlie-Bear picked me and came into my life when I had no home … I know it is stupid but I still have not got over losing her and can’t bring myself to have another dog (yet)!





Anyways, do not need one; I have a couple of special little Aussie’s I can love from afar AND this is all about celebrations not sadness.

I understand Teila, I lost my last dog in 1989 to cancer, and haven't had one since. So I love on Tara's dogs from a distance. I don't mind sharing them with you too, I'm sure Tara won't mind.

No deal on the swap Teila...but I do have some reservations.

I had all these GREAT plans for the perfect photo op and while the girls were napping after their second breakfast (yes, hobbits are not the only ones to have SECOND breakies!)...

I set up the flags...I even brought out THE iron. Tisk tisk...ironing...like pen cleaning or housework...usually have something ironed and by the time I might need to wear it, it needs to be washed again...all dusty form hanging WAY too long in the closet, eh!

If you look at the two photos above, you will see two of the tiny flags are in the ground...sounds good, right? HA...reservations, reserved expectations for things you think you can get away doing and things that will be...in regards to being in a puppys' world!

This is the wrecking crew of two!

"Oh we are puppies, let us EAT these delicious flags...these are toys...right? She has this set up in the puppy playground...so TOYS for pups!"​

So yes, the dynamic duo will EAT flags on the ground...has me wondering what federal and provincial laws these two recent ex pats of Australia have broken...defacing not only the country of Canada's flag but the provincial flag of Alberta...good gack girls...really?

I think what got me the most...they are not even facing each other and the master plan is in the makings..."CHEW the flags! Jest DO IT!" Dang mirror images of each other, if not for the colour, at least for the body poses...eat, eat, eat!


And of course, even AFTER I moved the two flags UP with the other two...well I had obviously forgotten puppy SPEEDS--there are only TWO speeds in PUPPY; it is GO or it is OFF. So not like I am going to take photos of DEAD like CORPSES in their stationary OFF MODE...so had to have them in GO MODE..

This is GO MODE...going concern mode...agh.
