JESUS Blessed my Life this week

Jesus blessed me with his comfort and peace after losing a very dear friend to a sudden heart attack a little over a week before Christmas. We were on our way back from taking my 80yo MIL to an orthopedic surgeon after she had broken her arm the day before when I got the call that the rescue squad had picked him up and then a second call about 30 minutes later on our way to the hospital (60 miles) telling me he had passed on. A friend for close to 40 years and a young fella only 49 years old.

Really a hard time this Christmas...and couldn't have made it without Jesus Christ...thank You Jesus.

Jesus blessed me with 11 awesome grandbabies all under the same roof and all in my arms..... what a great Christmas.... and what a great thread.

Nothing recent, but it is the greatest thing the Christian God has ever done for me: I was born 4 months premature. I had brain damage, and had developed Cerebral Palsy. It was costing 1.2 million dollars to keep me alive, and all the doctors said that I couldn't make it. Then, I died. For six minutes, and they all knew I wouldn't make it. My father brought in a Roman Catholic priest to bless me. He called upon God to save me, and I Lived. Although I still have Aspergers and Cerebral Palsy, I'm doing just fine. That is how God blessed my life.

We do something in our house at dinner every evening. One night (after a particularly trying day) my husband said "Let's talk about something we've done today that makes us happy or proud."
