Chapter 36

"Rupert, get in here, now," Bella warned.
"Why," Rupert asked.
"Just do it. I can sense that there's something here..."
"Bella!! Get over here," a familiar voice called. They stayed as far back in their hole as possible.
"Stay calm," Bella thought, "its alright, as long as he doesn't- oh no!!"
Sonny had jumped up onto their tree in search for the two. He even looked in their hole, but missed them.
"Nothing here," he reported, jumping down.
The two waited about an hour for their family to pass by. After that, Rupert set out to look for some water.

2 Days Later

A hawk was circling overhead. They hid as far back in the hole as possible, but the hawk continued circling for hours. Finally, Rupert walked out after getting fed up with waiting for it to pass by, and just as he started look for some water...
"Rupert!!! Look out!!!!!" Bella warned, but it was too late.
