Jewish Runner duck?

Did we hatch out a Jewish Runner??

As soon as I saw this little guy this is the first thing that went through my head...
Put on your yarmulke. Its time for chanukah. So much funnaka. To celebrate chanukah.

Little guy has a matted fluff on the back of his head and looks like he's wearing a little yarmulke!

Told DH I might have to name this one Adam.

are you keeping all the ducklings?

Nope. Keeping 1. I have 2 ducklings coming from metzer's next week (blue runner and a welsh harlequin, both females). So that gives me 4 girls so I'm keeping just one of ducklings from this hatch so if it happens to be a boy, I've got the girls to go with it.

this was today's hatch as of 3pm - 2 ducklings that were working their way out last night (the silverish one is the one in the pics from last night that was trying his darnedest to get out) and the 2 bantam chicks that a pip.

The owner of the company is taking 2, another teacher may be taking 2, I'm taking 1. A family from the preschool is taking 2. And any left, up to 11 of them, are going to a home one of the guys that works for DH found (or his wife found). All that hatch are spoken for.
