Well I can't help you, but I did have a depressed chicken for a while.

When her buddy died, I wasnt sure my Fussy was ever going to come out of it. She eventually did, and it mainly took time, but I gave her a lot of one on one attention. And of course we cried together (doubt you want to cry with your chicken tho, even tho you ARE willing to bite the girlies necks!).

Anyhow, not sure what made her finally come out of it, it was mainly come out of it, or die pining I guess and she decided to live. Not that that helps with your Jimmy. lol So no single thing I did that helped her. Have you had a "talk" with him? Maybe he just needs someone to talk to.

Totally a shot in the dark here but if Silkie is right, and lol she normally is!!, then he probably will get over his short-man syndrome if he is older/bigger than other chicks, so yes, put him in with new/younger ones and his confidence should crow...I mean grow, lol!..then tech him the neck biting trick and he'll be as evil as the rest of your flock!

Jimmy & Splash are inside and on our bed hangin with me and Drumstick.

He is getting along well with the splash orp. There has been a bigger
improvement overnight than all week. It must be because he was in the
big brooder with Splash and Angel.

They are both having oatmeal in our bed right now.

Oh, Splash is quickly becoming a lap bird.

She's sitting petting Splash right now. Anything that makes Drumstick happy, makes
her happy.
