Hi I love ducks last year the neighbours asked us if we had space for a duck as we used to have some pekins they brought us Simon (soon to be Simone) we went out straightaway and got 2 Indian runners for Simone called Lily and Daphne (soon to be Donald).

Cool, and what exactly am i looking for? Like how will I know if it’s pipped yet or not? I can’t go off peeping coming from the egg as I have 2-3 brooders in the same room all with little peeping chicks…. Lol these things peep in their sleep…🤣🤣🤣
so sorry for your ducklings..

Were the aircells big enough? Sorry, I was barely on here for the past two days.
Air cells are heaps big… I think they must have been in a state of rest… theres heaps of stong vains and I can’t see any blood rings…. Got the thermomete/hygrometer and my incubator is reading the wrong humidity so far the humidity on the hygrometer is up to 85% but the incubator only says 70% and temp is still climbing on the thermometer it’s currently reading at 35.8…. I might have to just be patient like I was with flash… he hatched 2-3 weeks passed hatch day underneath mumma duck

Update: thermometer is now reading 37.5ish incubator reading 38.6ish… looks like we’re in for a delayed hatch… got a second batch that is due to hatch in 4-5 days too… maybe better luck with them and they hatch closer to hatch day…lol…
