Joining the Flock!

Jillsie here, from Wisconsin. Ready for spring in a big way here in Wisconsin...what a winter! My 3 bird flock is small but sweet. My kids report that I could certainly have started my midlife crisis with something like a Cherry Red Mustang...and why did I choose chickens instead. That was 4 years ago, and I have since tried hatching various eggs, raised meat birds, and raised quail. Guess poultry are my midlife crisis buster!

Nothing better to have with a mid life crisis than poultry!!!! At least you won't be driving off into the sunset, unless you have chickens in the back seat of your tiny sports car!!

Well, if you're suffering from a "midlife crisis" then I'm suffering from a "late-life crisis" !! I'm 70 years old and am awaiting my four little chicks in about 10 days....yikes!! Can't wait!

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Spring sure sounds good about now! What would have done with that sports car all winter anyhow, and cars don't lay eggs.
