about chickens, so here I go............

Yep, that's was all of it. I feel better and I hope you all do too. Sharing is caring folks.

Seriously though, I've been lurking on here for a few months and gathering info from all of the members here and I thank you. I am in the process (4 weeks so far) of building my coop, I am using only recycled material that I can gather and am happy so far. Looks like my only expense is going to be fencing, not finding much on the curbs. Still trying to decide on how many (2 - 6 to start) and what breed to get.

Anyways, I look forward to future topics and discussions with y'all.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) I was born in Hot Springs, AR, and still love that area. Woo Pig Sooie. My father played football for the university of Arkansas at Fayetteville and graduated from there. If you haven't done so already, definitely our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting your coop built.
