I wonder how long would take us if we had to work with Red Jungle Fowl? I supposed that with the Knowledge we have about breeding and genetics now a days it would take aboult half or a quarter of what it took before(from the domestication of RJF to today´s high performance strains like Isa-Hyline lines, which is about 6,000 Years Ago)

will take us for ever .

got the confermation from the NN breeder .the eggs will be sent shipped to me Monday October 7th .

found my self limitted when working with somebody else breed .too many roles and regulation .
i m the one feeding those chooks ,so I should have something to say .so I ll breed my own strain .no body will tell me what to do .so I can express my knoledge and put it itno practice .

will be fun and a lot information too .

first part of Marneck breeding is Marans roosters over CLB pullets .is all ready happening . soon I ll have 2 different F1 progeny .
F1 Golden Boy .
F1 Big Blue
Second part of the breeding is the Naked Rooster over Marans dark egg layer.F1 NM .this is going to be next year .I m receving NN fertile eggs next week .need to incubate them .hatch them and raise them to maturity febore thinking of breeding them .

Third part is to cross the F1 to each other .
F1 GB X F1 NM = F2 GBNM
F1 GB X F1 BB = F2 GBBB
F1 BB X F1NM = F2 BBNM
F1 BB X F1 GB = F2 BBGB
F1 NM X F1 GB = F2 NMGB
F1 NM X F1 BB = F2 NMBB

yes my friend and for mad look too . my chooks are out all year around .9 months out 12 are hot .

Neked Neck I m receiving they eggs are all mixed colour .so pattern breeding from them will be not prodectible as the marans crosses .

NN rooster and 1 hen are Columbian . one hen is red with some silky genes .those are from the first breeder .
From the second breeder .they are mixed too .barred . white black and others .
