Hope this is the right place to find this information, and forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere. If it has, I'd love a link!
I know eventually I'll probably get some Orpingtons (buff)... I like the breed, they're pretty, good egg layers, can go broody, etc. Well a few days ago I saw Jubilee Orpingtons and really like them! A special thing about them, though, is that "Jubilee" is the name of my mom's Birth Center. I thought it'd be tons of fun to have a couple Jubilee Orpinton hens for my mom. Then I saw the price ($200).
So my question is this: Is that price correct or are there more practical prices elsewhere?
Also, is there a fairly cheap way to create my own Jubilee Orpington?
